Getting extended family together isn't always easy, especially when one contingent lives on the other side of the world! This lovely bunch wanted a family shoot whilst they could all be together UK side, from different corners of Kent and Japan ! We spent a special morning on the Grandparents' favourite wood walk, with lots of laughs and lovely togetherness. I like to keep family shoots relaxed, natural and as un-staged as possible..with a little light direction here and there to get the important 'all together shot' they'd requested!
Outdoors and in a place that holds meaning or significance always helps to create an even more personal family narrative to these shoots. The comfortable vibe and connections of this family shone bright.
